Bhoopali Todi
If you are looking to learn the morning raga Bhoopali Todi, or if you are looking for one of the most in-depth introductions to jhaptal available anywhere online, you are in the right place!
Bhoopali Todi is a raga seldomly heard from bansuri players, likely because of the difficulty in fingering created by the existence of three notes that require partially closed holes (Komal Re, Komal Ga and Komal Dha). Of course, at Bansuri Bliss we like to use ALL CAPS for notes, and put a horizontal line underneath komal notes, which is what you see in the PDF(s) included on this page. Using lowercase for notes is best reserved exclusively for when you need to type and there is no option for underlining. Best to just use your pencil or pen so you can write the notes in the ideal manner (ALL CAPS!).
